gouache and ink on paper
I have an almost pathological aversion to good paper. Not sure if it’s frugality taken to its limits, but I can’t relax and be loose unless I draw on scraps and printer paper. And there’s something liberating about using cheap thin paper for paint--it invites all the right kinds of accident and wrongness.
